How Absolute Dermatology staff opt in to call-out text messages
International format, starting with +1 for US numbers.
How it works
Text alerts are used for one thing: telling the small number of people who arrange coverage that a member of staff has called out, so a shift can be filled. They go only to employees of Absolute Dermatology who have been listed for them and who have then opted in themselves on this form. Nobody can opt in on another person's behalf.
Message frequency varies and depends on how often call-outs happen — typically a few a week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Staff can also switch them off at any time on the same screen they used to turn them on.
A sample message reads: “Absolute Dermatology: Jordan Reyes called out for Mon, Sep 8 AM. Open the app to run triage.”
